For the folks that are having problems you need to contact customer support. I contacted their support on the phone and they are incredibly helpful. They worked through issues I was having and my app now works great and is also synced with Alexa. The customer support also helped me set up Alexa

Everything was working just fine I got a new phone the app is on there, but it will not let me use it it only recognizes two of my Samsung appliances but not my new to heat and Glo fireplaces period how do I put my fireplaces back on here

App will not allow connection to the module. Module is present in Wi-Fi menu and my phone can connect. When I connect to the intelligize module the app locks up and won't allow the setup to progress. Don't waste the money for the module.

Here is my forth edit, the other three are available to review if you want to hear more disappointment. FAILS TO CONNECT AFTER A FEW DAYS TO APP OR ALEXA. The ECM (the module that keeps the fireplace connected to Wi-Fi) is a huge failure. It requires manual reset weekly at minimum. I've had more than one installed. The pairing with alexa will only work with an iPhone because of faulty programming. If you want a smart fireplace look elsewhere. FIX THE SMART INTEGRATION.

App is okay certainly better than 1980s style remote, but the Wi-Fi module for the fireplace is terrible. It drops off the network regularly. Support is non-existent.
