KICHEN BASKET : Food & Grocery

Kichen Basket is a user-friendly mobile application that allows customers to browse, order, and receive groceries and food items conveniently at their doorstep. It is designed to simplify local shopping with secure payments, personalized experiences, and real-time tracking.

🧾 1. User Registration and Authentication
To use the app, users must create an account using:
Email and password
Phone Number
Name

We use Firebase Authentication to securely store and manage user login credentials. The app ensures that only verified users can place orders or interact with other features.

👤 2. User Profile and Account Information
Users can create and manage their profile by providing:

Name
Phone number
Email address
Delivery address
Profile photo (optional)

This information is stored securely using Firebase Firestore. Users can edit or delete their profile data anytime from their account settings.

🛒 3. Browsing and Ordering Products
Users can:
Browse categories like vegetables, fruits, snacks, and beverages.
View detailed product information including images, prices, and descriptions.
Add items to the cart and place orders.
The product data is dynamically fetched from Firebase Realtime Database, and images are loaded using Firebase Storage.

🧾 4. Order Placement and Payment
After selecting products, users can:
Review their cart
Choose a payment method (Cash on Delivery or Online Payment via Razorpay)
Confirm delivery details
Place the order
We use secure payment gateways. No card details are stored in our servers. We only receive transaction confirmation from the payment processor.

📦 5. Order Tracking and Management
Users can view the status of their order in real-time (e.g., processing, dispatched, delivered).
Orders are stored in Firestore, and users can view their order history.
Orders can be edited or cancelled within 15 minutes of placing them.

🔁 6. Reorder and Review System
Once an order is delivered, users can reorder the same item(s) with a single tap.
Users can also leave product reviews, including a rating, comment, name, and phone number. This helps improve service quality.
💬 7. Messaging and Support
The app includes a messaging system where users can communicate with delivery partners or support agents.
All messages are securely stored in Firebase Realtime Database.

To provide delivery to your correct address:
We request location access (only while the app is in use).
This ensures timely and accurate delivery by our partners.

📊 9. Analytics and Performance
To improve your experience:
We use analytics tools like Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
These help us understand usage patterns, fix bugs, and optimize app performance.
No personally identifiable information is used for advertising or third-party targeting.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Data is only shared with trusted services (e.g., delivery partners, payment gateways).
