Kid Safe Phone

Kid Safe Phone (originally Kid Safe Launcher) is a simple, parent-controlled Android launcher designed to help children use their device safely, calmly, and with clear limits.

Built by a parent myself, Kid Safe Phone focuses on the things families actually need: choosing which apps are visible, keeping the child experience simple, and giving parents a stronger way to manage the device without turning everything into a monthly subscription.

Instead of paying forever, Kid Safe Phone uses a one-time purchase/unlock model. Pay once and use the launcher without ongoing subscription fees. You could even use this on multiple devices, as a parent of 4 kids myself this saves you money and time!

What parents can do:
• Choose which apps are available in Kid Mode
• Hide apps that should not be opened by children
• Customize the launcher layout
• Use a simple parent-protected area for settings
• Keep the child experience clean and focused
• Prevent accidental exits from the launcher
• Use optional extra secure mode for stronger device lockdown

Extra Secure Mode:
For parents who want stronger control, Kid Safe Launcher includes an optional extra secure mode. When properly enabled by the parent, this mode can lock the device more tightly into the launcher experience and limit access to areas outside the approved child environment. This is intended for parent-owned or parent-managed devices where the parent wants full control over what the child can access.

Kid Safe Phone does not try to spy on your child. It is built around local device control, not remote monitoring.

Privacy-first design:
• No ads
• No analytics
• No tracking
• No child accounts
• No personal data sold or shared
• Parent settings stay on the device

Kid Safe Phone is made for parents who want a clean, practical, one-time-purchase launcher that gives children access to the apps they are allowed to use while helping parents stay in control.
