Works relatively good. Best to broadcast your network in 2.4 GHz before attempting the setup. Once you're running at 2.4 GHz turn your Bluetooth on your phone as the setup will first connect to your Bluetooth and pair then the system will flip over to your network and finish off the installation.

Rarely used an app so buggy. I tried to delete my account, but the site does not let me do it. I decided to buy a Mysa thermostat that sends commands to the unit through infrared. Very happy with my choice.

The sumo cloud app initially worked fine but appears to have lost its connection to its servers, and it can't be restored. Mitsubishi seems to be aware of this issue and has replaced the app but has not yet made the replacement available in Canada. Good heat pump (so far), but it's kind of the opposite of smart.

Edit 3 weeks later: Reducing to 1 star. I now understand the complaints. Absolute garbage, app won't connect to their server for almost a week now, no response from support. Class action suit, anyone? Prev review: Latest version is stable, was super easy to add my 2 units. It's very responsive for ny dual-zone MSZ-FX. I wish you could control horizontal louver position, and the UI lacks feedback and explanation. But the basic functionality works better and faster than Mysa and Sensibo.

Horrible, flaky, avoid. Added the expensive Wi-Fi 2 module to our new SVZ heat pump, created dedicated 2.4ghz SSID, app shows errors and times out during BLE pairing, occasionally gets further but hangs and times out on firmware update. Wasted half a day resetting/rebooting everything and never succeeded. This is the Achilles heel of Mitsubishi, shockingly poor execution. Thankfully I have Home Assistant and bought a Tinwer board, and it worked on the very first try.
