As far as basics go - the app is solid and gives users a basic amount of control and content. Wishes for Advanced Users - 1) please give us dealer / advanced controls even if locked behind a pass code like the thermostat. - or even a read only so we can look over settings without being at the thermostat! 2) Please give us runtime broken down by hour, day, week, month ext. 24 hr run time (current) and (total) for the current day and last day(s) would be a great start!!

RE: Minisplit Heat Pump control app. Works reasonably well. Its menu structure & layout are not very handy. There are some settings that (web says) are hidden and can only be changed with the remote (want fan on always when set to cool). So, for very basic stuff +/- temp etc. it's good. For basic stuff fan speed etc. it's ok. For schedule etc. it's a mild pain. For settings (above) I think should be tucked away (like it does fan speed) it's useless. So 3* to 4*.

Have to set the temperature twice every single time after last update with Daikin DS One LTE.

9 months ago we installed a new Amana furnace, a/c, humidifier & thermostat. Then was told can use Wi-Fi for the app & it not comes with AMANA or a 3rd party company monitoring or cloud storage. Last week went to adjust the temperature via app & it's discontinued! It said to Install this app. Now we HAVE TO USE CLOUD & always have someone monitoring how we use it. No~Don't Want That!! Especially if can't uncheck that box BEFORE input email & Wi-Fi info! 🤬 No Thx We'll go back setting it at the wall

Wastes energy by overshooting and cooling a couple degrees below the set temp. Set the temp range to the narrowest setting and disabled overcook to humidify function with no change in device behavior. Tech support unable to assist. I plan to replace it with a competitor's thermostat soon.

Worthless app and thermostat, possibly designed by people who don't live where the temperature varies more than 5 degrees per day. The app and thermostat only support ONE schedule, with a minimum temperature variance of 4 degrees. In Colorado, we go from heat, to AC, to heat throughout the year. To do that with this software, I would have to tap ~14 times per day, every day.
