The light wave link plus works really the switches and hub plus are more expensive but walk well have put them into in my property of lights I can't make smart thanks to this company integrates with my Google home well

I have Light wave throughout my house, it manages all lighting, the heating and many sockets. It's not cheap to invest in, but, this is my second home to benefit from this level of management and automation, and it lasts, integrates well with Alexa, and it's continuing to be developed, with the App having numerous clever automation options. The technical support is excellent. Why 4 stars? Not 5? Cost and level of technical complexity can be tricky. Some automations can be complex to set up.

Why so many button presses?? Just to turn on a smart series switch I have to open the app, avoid pressing the big "plus" symbol (like adding a light switch is a common occurrence), select the room, then select the switch, and then switch it on... That's the least 4 button presses! On my Deta Connect series app (gen1) I have my whole house connected to Light wave Connect and can turn on/off anything with just two clicks, one to open the app and the second click to turn on/off the Light wave device.

Useless, confusion, wish I never got the hardware to need this app. I'm saving up to replace all bits, thermo valves, dimmer switches etc. Might just move home to get away from all this light wave. 6 years on, most of the radiator valves have fallen off, tbe thermostat only works if the hall is cold. I've binned the dimmer switches and replaced with old switches, just one relay and remote in kitchen. It's obviously given up. That was a waste of over a grand, not including the cost to replace!

Had to move to Link Plus device to extend devices and, although all Connect devices work fine so far, user experience for old Connect devices is appalling. As the old Connect switches and dimmers only receive commands, the hub and app have no way to know their status - but the app only provides toggle buttons not separate on and off buttons, so if you switch something on at the wall you then may have to press the button on the app twice to switch it off, or not depending! Almost unusable.
