I truly love this brand and this product!!! I've been using lockly now for about 3 years. I feel safer and more protected when I have my lockly. The door closes and locks right behind you. I can set individual codes for the different individuals that I allow in my residence while I'm not there. The only thing that I do not like is that the screen on my lockly device completely disappears when it's in direct sunlight. I had to have my kids climb on the roof through her window to let us in.

Linking to Alexa is broken. So don't buy this lock if that's important to you. Support at lockly has been notified for months, but Linking to Alexa remains broken. Terrible support! Update: Ronaldo from customer support found that there was maintenance being performed on the servers when I tried to link with Alexa. Tried again, and it worked!

It's been September 2023 began the warranty claim process and the company doesn't have the parts to cover their warranty. The lock was purchased in Dec 2020. It seems as though they are trying to delay until it's out of warranty. Touchpad, finger scan and almost every component no longer works. The lock randomly locks and unlocks, leaving our home at risk. We had to notify our insurance company and will be filling with legal until it is resolved to ensure the appropriate party is upheld.

I HATE this app. I have had the lockly door lock for a little over 2 years and NEVER had a problem. Last month my wife and I updated to the new version of the app. Since then, we CAN NOT USE ANY FEATURE of this app. No matter what we do, the app says that the batteries in the door lock are at 0% and the app will not work. We have done everything possible from putting in new batteries and rebooting the app and the phone to uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone and then reinstalling the app.

The auto-lock feature is always on, even if I turn it off in the app. The fingerprint access is very finicky and often requires multiple attempts. Additionally, using the device in the rain always leaves me soaked. I don’t typically use the keypad, but others have been able to unlock it when the fingerprint feature isn’t working. Currently, the device's firmware won't update. Overall, if I could retire this device, I would, but it’s too expensive to replace immediately.
