Weiser locks install pretty easily, and the app works great over Bluetooth to set up combinations for the keypad. Have installed 2 Aura keypads and 2 lockets - which can all easily be keyed alike! 5 stars!

One issue that occurs randomly and often is that you will use app to open or lock door and app and hardware become entranced. App will just continue saying updating status forever. Closing, restating app does nothing. Hardware will also be in weird state where you hear the motor each time you turn the deadbolt. And it has nothing tm to do with the battery or, Wi-Fi because the app sends a correct notification each time you lock unlock. So it does know the status but keeps saying checking status.

These Weiser locks are battery eaters even if they are rarely used. I think it is partially due to the Wi-Fi connection which you don't seem to be able to turn off. Plus, changing the AA batteries is not a simple process. Total pain. Removed it and tossed it. A few weeks later: 1) I stand by my review; 2) will add that when bright sunlight shown on the keypad, the lock acts up; 3) forgot to mention that I lost the key to the unit and find it would cost as much as a whole new lock to replace.

Will not update, tried and tried, just another let down from tech. I shouldn't be surprised by now. Smart lock that takes more maintenance and work then the old-fashioned key lock... not impressed at all.
