4 stars only because I cannot connect the Z-Wave tech and all the directions out there for my unit state to hold the middle button, down for another menu, guess what no middle button on the unit. Otherwise, works great unlike the new app you have that one sucks.

Needs a bit more fine-tuning, could use a schedule for those that don't use geo-fence. Overall, happy with this Canadian made app/thermostat. Don't rest on your laurels, fine tune this app and read the other comments. Make Canadian Products Great Again! :-)

I'm really disappointed about this app. After 3 weeks of use it sometimes deletes the preset temperature of the am away, or I am home settings. Cant get the geofencing option to work by himself it just works manually even with the app with all the permissions. I JUST Can't BELIEVE they didn't put the possibility of automatic schedule of temperature as in the $30 thermostat for that price. Please get the jobs done for the consumer if I bought an intelligent thermostat It's not to downgrade the possibilities. There's nothing that shows the actual use of heating by hours of the day. The touch screen are so irresponsive for a 2018 product… almost a joke. For having tried competitors I strongly suggest going elsewhere if they don't fix or upgrade their products. It's a waste of money for now.

The controller is nice enough, but the app far as I can tell is not usable for anything. Even though the thermostat is Wi-Fi enabled, the "connect a thermostat" uses some "Zigbee" pairing thing (not Wi-Fi) and is hence useless if you don't have Zigbee.

Every update clears my settings! I travel a lot and can't log in to update the thermostat being away for months at a time. An update should NEVER clear my login. Every other app updates without this why doesn't this one?
