★★★★★ Great to read and annotate papers, especially on a tablet. Too bad they want to remove it from play store 😢 reading papers in a browser is one thing, but how do i add new items to library if it's gonna be a web app only, huh?

★★★★★ Why are you removing the mobile app? I got a message saying the app will be removed from the Google Play store on March 15, 2021. Please keep the mobile version, I would pay if there is a cost.

★★☆☆☆ I liked this app very much, as it integrated into my workflow very well: finding something urgently or reading article on the go after syncing with desktop uploads was very easy, far easier than haphazardly searching for paper I think I saw a few days ago in Google Scholar or Scopus entering university proxy passwords etc. The news of cancellation of the app is terrible: there is no healthy alternative for mobile. Which leaves desktop application in a weird position: there are tons of other reference managers, and mobile version of Mendeley is one of the things that made it stand out. And now is there really a reason left to use Mendeley over anything else?

★★☆☆☆ A clunky, glitchy version of the desktop program. Really wish you could have a "watch folder" on your phone so you could actually download new articles and add directly from the phone. Visibility of your full library is limited on the phone app. Annotations don't always make the transfer between synced phone and desktop libraries. Annotation is super glitchy.

★★☆☆☆ Why on earth you are removing the app? The web interface is not functional for proper reading and note taking! You cannot highlight texts more than one word at a time! At least resolve the issues with the web interface before unnecessarily removing the app! Everyone else is moving from web to app and Elsevier is (not surprisingly) moving backward! Since Mendeley was acquired by greedy Elsevier, only bad things have been happening to this (used to be) convenient and properly functional platform! Started with removal of some of the features of the apps and now this! It used to be a five star app for me but I am giving a one star now since the web UI doesn't deserve more!
