For several years, I was using t Goodnotes5(paid) version, and I recently switched to MS OneNote. I am giving 4 star because of the following: 1. There is not an option to change the pen width smoothly just like GN5(Pen width increased by 0.5 mm). 2. A differe type of pen option is missing (Ball pen, Pencil, Ink pen etc.). 3. Syncing between Ipad and Web version is a mess especially handwritten notes. (Need to work a lot on this feature). Google is limiting the review writing, so I will end here.

Since 2026, app is utterly useless. Have tried all MS recommended fixes including uninstall, cache clear, notebook fixes on desktop. Nothing made the app useable. If it wirks for you, then it's an ok app. Your mileage may vary.

When taking notes with this app every time I type a comma and type something the cursor jumps before the comma which is so annoying. This has been a bug for years. Microsoft knows about it, and they have not fixed it. Why would anyone want to jump back before their comma? It makes no sense.
