There should be more AI-assisted speaking practice topics, and within the same topics, there should be a wider variety of formats. Add the corrections you made and practice speaking until you are satisfied, or come back and practice speaking again.

Great for vocabulary. I was doing Dutch lessons, so your results may vary on this. The primary way to do grammar and sentence structure would have been with full-sentence questions and answers, but every single sentence question was always the first answer. Once I noticed this (about 3 days in), it became difficult to gain much from those questions. About a week in, I messaged the support team, and was told it was being investigated, but after the third month, I was usually using other apps

Nice and relaxed learning. I like that the learning is central and that I don't feel like I'm playing some other game against other people at the same time. It also does not constantly beg for more money, which Duolingo does. A few bugs are holding it back from 5 stars, such as multiple choice questions, where the first option is always the correct one.

Just like the app Ling be weary of their 7-day free trial. They charged me after three days. Which, despite how they have free trial plastered everywhere. Also in the japanese course they use the words for little sister and little brother as just sister and brother. Which is incorrect. It's a shame, the app does look nice and the voice chat is pleasant, but shady business practice and incorrect vocab

So I just used the free trial for Afrikaans, and when I deleted it before the trial even finished, it kept on trying to transact, yet it was deleted, so I had to freeze my account because I didn't have money thanks modly ๐Ÿ˜

Ok, but they really need to work on the speaking part. The app has a very hard time hearing short words and it gets extremely frustrating. It even has problems hearing yes/no in English when it asks if I want to continue. Any short words in any language. The speaking lessons are also too slow but that is minor compared to the sound input problems for short words. I would not consider paying for the app until this has been resolved. UPDATE: the problem is so bad I've had to lower my score to 1.
