If you have an electric vehicle on the Scheme you can use Motability Go Charge to find chargepoints, manage your charging, and pay with one tap and one app. No more pre-authorisations and app downloads – just use the Go Charge app or Go Charge card we send you when you register.
Go Charge includes 23,000 chargepoints across the UK from 20+ chargepoint operators including Osprey, Ionity, Shell Recharge, Mer, ESB and Fastnet, Source London, ChargePlace Scotland and more.

Great idea and app. Only thing we would have liked to have seen is that you could top up the card on the app and be able to use that credit instead of the app charging your debit card.

This app is actually very, very good now. They definitely had a few teething problems. But the problems I complained about have all been fixed. Since fixing the issues, we have had no problems at all. It's so straight forward to use. Remember, when using the different charging points, there are different ways to start the charge....ie: putting the plug in the car 1st, or sometimes you put it in the charging point 1st. U have also got round the clock help if needed. Definitely recommend this app.

Received new Go Charge this am. Now 12:45, sat down, downloaded app and registering for new GC account. But when entered new password and ticked terms and conditions, next page shows red banner at top, stating error has occurred - unable to process. And this was before I could enter my bank card details. Plus, does this new Go Charge give a discounted charging rates of providers too?

A poor option for Motability Customers. The map is way behind Zap Map in usability and clarity. There's no benefit financially and no guarantee the whole connecting and paying effort will work any smoother than using the operators apps directly. Also, far too many chargers not shown on the map. You're better off with Zap Map to find chargers and the operators apps individually to connect and pay.
