I’ve tried a lot of Android email apps, and Thunderbird is the one that’s staying on my phone. It’s open source, has no ads, no subscriptions, and works well with my email accounts. I love that I can share links from emails directly to my URL-cleaning app instead of the usual copy-and-paste faff in Outlook. My only gripe is the light theme. The gray text is too low-contrast, and a high-contrast option plus more color theming would make the app almost perfect. A solid email app.

Great open source email client. Unified inbox is great. Only suggestion is that it might be cool if you can perform a server search at the unified inbox level.

I am using Thunderbird app on desktop. I successfully connected my business emails and using them. However, I am unable to use this mobile app. I can't import settings from the desktop app. When I scan QR code, nothing happened.

You have to work on it. Unified Inbox doesn't work. When I switch from the Unified Inbox to another user account, I can no longer switch back to the Unified Inbox.

Missing summary view showing subscribed folders from all accounts like Aqua Mail. It would be a good way to get overview of all received emails. Sidebar uses giant font and large spacing and no way to adjust. Result is a lot of wasted screen real estate and ugly visual appearance.
