Noise Meter

Noise Meter turns your phone into a real-time decibel (dB) meter for measuring environmental noise — at home, at the office, on the street, or at the gym.

[Key features]
• Real-time dB measurement using your device microphone
• Beautiful analog gauge with color-coded noise levels:
- Quiet (< 40 dB) — very quiet environment
- Normal (40–70 dB) — conversational level
- Loud (70–90 dB) — caution on prolonged exposure
- Dangerous (90+ dB) — risk of hearing damage
• History: every recording is saved with max, average, and duration
• dB timeline graph in the record detail view
• Microphone calibration: align readings to a known reference (SPL meter, calibration tone, etc.)
• Easy sharing: capture the meter screen and share to messaging or social apps in one tap
• Multilingual: English and Korean

[Privacy first]
• The microphone is only used for measurement — no audio is recorded, transmitted, or stored
• Microphone is automatically released when the app goes to the background
• No account, no signup, no personal-information tracking

[Accuracy notes]
Readings depend on your device microphone, which is not a laboratory-grade sensor. For absolute SPL accuracy, use the built-in calibration feature together with a reference SPL meter. The displayed values are a practical indicator, not a certified measurement.
