Abysmal app, ridiculous support, horrible company. The only reason anyone would consider opening an HSA or any account with Optum bank is if it is the ONLY way to get the "rewards" that you were promised. Lies, theft, and incompetence are the norm. $2000 min balance to avoid service fees. Put in 2k, watch $2.75 per month disappear. Open support case, and you can feel the hair falling out of your head. Try to get your money out? More fees and 19th century technology required. Horrible.

Issues: - When I add my HSA card to my GPay, it doesn't show as one of the available ones when I try to use GPay to pay for healthcare expenses at my provider's office or through their online portal - Trying to manually link a bank account results in an error stating that there is an error on the system's end - The ETAs to talk to an agent are very inaccurate - Biometric login and login remembrance don't work. Still have to 2FA every time - Message Center page is blank with nothing on it

The app was excellent when I started using it in2019, 2025 app never works, unable to upload documents. Unable to login without the app going goofy, unable to get information when using the chat. Always gotta call after getting blocked/frozen benefits for medical services, this application messes with life-threatening experiences. It's worthless. 2025
