Description
Pace On Demand offers reservation-based, shared-ride service in 10 designated service areas throughout the suburbs of Chicago. Book your ride directly in the app at least ten minutes or up to seven days in advance (based on availability), and pay with a Ventra Card ($2.00 per ride) or cash ($2.25) when boarding.
Pace On Demand is open to the general public, so anyone can book a trip and ride the service, as long as the trip starts and ends within one of the On Demand zones.

These people don't know what they're doing. They come to your location Early change the time and leave you standing there looking stupid when you're trying to add a bus card to your account so that you can ride it all day. (THE DRIVER LEFT ME AND I LOST MY JOB) I HOPE SHE LOST HERS TOO!! SB And when they finally give you a ride they pick you up bring you all the way back to where you need to be dropped off and turn around and go back to where they picked you up. 5-min ride turned in to 1 hr.

I've been using this app and the services for a couple of weeks and there are a couple of issues. First, there is no consistency with the pickup time the app issues to you and the actual time the bus picks you up (For example, my bus ride was supposed to pick me up at 8:16 ± 5 mins but the bus shows up at 8:06, which is completely out of the time frame). Additionally, the app randomly cancels your rides without any notification and yet the bus would show up at the pickup location. Inconvenient.
