• What happens if my credit card expires or my Pro subscription ends? Nothing stops. Your loved ones and data remain 100% protected. PacteGo will never block an emergency vault transmission due to a billing issue. Everything you configured is preserved and will be faithfully sent when the time comes. Without a subscription, you only lose comfort options (health emails, backups, new edits)—never your protection.
• Can I choose the frequency of the check-ins? Yes, everything is customizable: interval in hours or days, or calendar mode (fixed days of the week + specific time). You also set the duration of the grace period and the timing of the final reminder.
• How do my recipients receive the messages? Three modes to choose from. By default, the "secure link" mode: the email contains a neutral notification and a code-protected link (confidential content does not transit through the email). You can also send files as an encrypted ZIP archive or as classic email attachments.
• What is the "dual-contact rule"? An optional security feature: at the deadline, PacteGo first asks a trusted contact to confirm your absence. Without their confirmation within the period you set, the transmission executes automatically.
• Do I get proof that everything is working? Yes. Pro accounts receive a weekly health email and a monthly backup (JSON format). All accounts, both Free and Pro, can run a dry run simulation at any time to test the system.
