Even if some peaks are behind others Peak Scanner still allows you to get details on them (obscured peaks are shown in grey).

- fast start up time - no finger taps required - just point! - clean, easy to understand display that shows exactly what you want - easy to use preferences to tailor the display

A Super App for Walkers This is a must for walkers. When out the familiar "what is that hill over there?" can now be answered so easily. It was quickly installed and after engaging the phone GPS distant hills were identified from home in the town! Can't wait to go out on a walk to use it in earnest. A great app.

Best app for peak ID Easy to use interface. Still a few minor bugs. Nice feature to add would be true north compass compensation based on GPS position to help distinguish peaks.

Just what I was looking for. I wanted a quick and easy way to identify Rocky Mountain peaks I can see from Denver. This app delivered. Free, non-intrusive permissions, & fast. I'm a fan.

Fun app It's working well, but it doesn't highlight some of the distant peaks here in the alps. A good feature here would be the ability to filter out peaks above and below a certain height. E.g. right now a filter of >4000m would be cool. So from gnifetti hut I can see gran paradiso, but the app doesn't. Awesome app though, I'm impressed.

Pointless. Even with good signal, in thr middle of Val thorens, shows anything but the peaks surrounding us.

Doesn't recognise the Himalayan range :x

Froze a Note12 Had to hard reset my pad as this app was blocking all inputs

Doesn't work. Nuff said.

Nicely polished turd. App fail constantly. Absolute waste of time. I know its free but this bloatware should pay me rent for taking up space on my phone.
★★☆☆☆
Inaccurate Shows peaks but I can be standing still and it is moving all over, or peaks don't line up anywhere near their actual heading.
