Pedometer - Step Counter

A simple, private step counter. It uses the step sensor built into your phone, the same data source as your phone's health apps. It does not guess from shaking, so driving or waving your phone does not add steps, and it does not drain the battery. No GPS needed.

HISTORY
• Week, month and year views with daily and monthly averages
• Total steps, daily average and the number of days you reached your goal
• Tap any day to see its steps hour by hour

YOUR GOAL, YOUR BODY
• Set a daily goal from 1,000 to 30,000 steps; a new goal applies from today, past days keep their own goal
• Enter your height and weight for better distance and calorie estimates, or enter your own step length
• Metric or imperial units

ALWAYS COUNTING
• Home screen widget with today's steps and goal progress
• Counts in the background and shows today's steps in the notification
• If counting seems to have stopped during the day, the app tells you and takes you to the battery settings
• Continues after your phone restarts
• An alert when you reach your daily goal
• Pause counting any time

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
• No account, no internet access, no ads, no location tracking
• Your steps stay on your phone; export them to a CSV file whenever you like
• Automatic backup to the Downloads/Pedometer folder on your phone, so you can restore your records after reinstalling or on a new phone. The backup file is not encrypted
• Light and dark themes
