The app setup was very easy and simply put the product works well. Make sure you prime the feeder and try and keep some kibble in the bin but other than that. This app is easy to use and I love the scheduling feature and the app notifications.

Works Well...when I can find it. The problem I have is that I look at the feeder, and its called "PetSafe". I search for an app called Petsafe in the store and find and install it. But the ACTUAL name of the app is SmartFeed. But I forget that every time and have to find it in the app store and hit open. Partially on me because my old feeder was PetNet and the name of their app was logical "PetNet".

The app is now effectively broken. Does not send notifications when the feeder is prompted. Does not feed on schedule. Broken.

The feeder is okay (3 stars) but the only controller is an antiquated phone app, which is why it gets 1 star. Can only set 1 alarm per feeder & it's all or nothing: can't have multiple feeding times that individually turn on & off. Need to turn off the entire timer to skip a feeding. If you forget or don't have wifi access to turn it back on, your pets are screwed. Forget about setting a once-a-week recurring feeding. My phone, which is several gens old, can do that. Notifications suck too.

I have two Smart Feeders. They have been working fine but the button of both feeders started to blink (blue) at the same time, devices wouldn't connect to Internet. I tried restarting them, turning them off, restarting my mobile, uninstalling and installing again app, nothing works. When I try to connect them, after select them from the Wi-Fi list and return to the PetSafe Smart Feed App my Wi-Fi isnot listed. There is a red box in the app that tells OUR CLOUD SERVICE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
