Description
This phonemic chart helps you hear and say the sounds of the English language. To hear the sounds, click on the IPA symbols that represent the sounds. Click on the top right hand corner of each symbol to hear sample words that include the sounds.
There are three sections in this app: vowels, diphthongs and consonants.
Notes:
• Pure vowels are arranged according to mouth shape (left to right, lips wide / round - top to bottom, jaw closed / open). • Diphthongs are grouped in rows according to their second sound. • ‘x’ has two sounds, namely, /ks/ and /gz/. These two sounds are not represented in the standard IPA chart; they are put here for the sake of completeness. • The letter ‘q’ is always followed by the letter ‘u’. Together, they make the /kw/ sound.

The "close" icon isn't there. It's not possible to go back to the main window after choosing a sound. I am forced to leave the app to choose a different sound

Helpful...sorta. Had it for all of 10 seconds, you can't control the volume and takes you to a second menu when you click onto a new sound. Speaking of clicking...the clicking noise is loud and can't be turned off. These one is a hard pass

What an App 😂 It doesn't have back option in it When we hear a sound then we have to go back and wish to listen another sound right? But there is no back button in it 😂😂😂 If you fix the back option it will be quite good at all It's a suggestion for you!!
