After a cheap builder-installed sump failed and flooded our basement, we were glad to have this sump installed and even more assured that I can monitor it remotely and receive updates if anything goes wrong. That said, how accurate are the readings? Did my sump really pump out over 15,000 gallons yesterday? And if so, is this pump going to be enough long-term (I went with the one with backup pump and battery backup)?

Refused to connect. Returned the plug for a full refund. I wish I had read the reviews before spending $300cdn on a plug. Find an alternative!

I have received over 100 alerts that my Pit Boss+ is malfunctioning. I contacted someone on this app, and they are telling me that it's due to a new update that's being installed which is supposed to be better. I'm really annoyed at this since my sump pump is something that I rely on. I would not recommend getting the sump pump because of these horrible alerts. I have restarted my Sump Pump and uninstalled this app and reinstall this app multiple times, and it's still not working correctly.

In attempting to set up my new account I continue to receive an error message that just keeps stating "there was an error creating your account". Hopefully the actual pump and battery backup work better than the app.

The system apparently stopped updating the servers on 4/8/23, and I can't even view the cycle history anymore. Signing out and back in didn't help. Reconnecting to my Wi-Fi didn't help. Plus, the app is so painfully slow even on a Galaxy S22 ultra. It also doesn't update that my sump lost AC power until the battery backup dies completely. Good concept, but since 4/8/23 it's been a pretty useless thing. Other than that, the pump works just fine.
