Pocket Books is a simple checkbook register. This simple little app allows you to successfully manage your finances from the convenience of your phone. You can create different "Accounts" within Pocket Books, allowing you track expenses, income, and transfers of all your important accounts.
Recent changes: Fixed some minor bugs: - Uppercase is now used on new accounts. - When editing a transaction, the titles says "Edit Transaction" instead of "New Transaction" - Landscape Layout updated on TransactionsActivity to fix issue that was crashing. ie it was using the old layout still.

Works for me for a lotta years. Con: No way to back up data. I use the app to balance/monitor several of my accounts. Everybody needs a way to back up - especially useful when replacing phones. 5 ⭐ rating when I can back up my data

Not good. Even though the description says you can change transactions, it's not an easy way to do it. There is also no way to set up a recurring transaction. Once you put a transaction in, even though the date is in the future, it will deduct immediately. Outside of that it was ok, but I found another app that does what I want better.

I would love to use this simple, elegant app, but the calendar feature is a deal-breaker. Please switch to a date-picker that resembles a monthly calendar instead of three boxes of scrolling numbers for dates.
