Comments on PointCentral Smart Properties for Android

★★★★★ Lauren Alvarez · Jul 20, 2020

It's come in clutch for me a few times in emergencies when I haven't been home to open the door, so I am grateful. Occasionally a message has come up that I don't understand, but I called support and they were super helpful. :)

★★★★☆ Ben R · Oct 21, 2018

Just moved in today and already this app does not work properly. I was not home when my wife arrived at the property, and I tried to let her in and the doors would not unlock. I see why the other reviewers also gave this one star it does not function properly if you are going to have a smart home system you need to have an app that functions properly get it together.

★★★★★ Mary Crawford · Sep 11, 2020

Awesome App!!! Love that I can look and unlock my door remotely and adjust the thermostat!!

★★★★★ Chelsey Goodwin · Jan 13, 2020

Easy app to use and the Point Central support team are always friendly, knowledgeable, and really go out of their way to resolve any questions or concerns!

App has terrible synchronization with the home system. I just walked into my home and set off the alarm after the app showed it was disarmed. I refreshed the app several times to be sure it was disarmed, but the alarm timer was still initiated when I entered my home. I tried to run the "Home" scene to disarm it, as "disarm" wasn't an option due to the app saying the system was already disarmed. I could hear the system say, "System Disarmed," but the timer continued, and my alarm triggered.

★★☆☆☆ Demii Sharp · Dec 30, 2022

I like the app, but I don't like how the system jams a lot and won't let you lock the door at times. At times this is very unsafe.

★★☆☆☆ bill n · Mar 28, 2024

Not synchronizing in time, than thermostat does not change the temperature you have set on. Example: if you set the temperature on heat let's say at 74, when the temperature reaches 74 it should turn off the system, but because the app not synchronizing the correct temperature in time, it stays longer time on.

★★☆☆☆ Germany Harris · Jan 2, 2026

Says my doors unlocked when its locked almost near constant. Had to leave work to go and make sure I locked the door. I don't love this system. I especially don't love that the new apartment management forced this on us.
