Simply touch the Nix Mini or Nix Pro to any surface and instantly view an accurate paint match to the PPG Voice of Color collection on your smartphone or tablet. Once scanned, you can swipe between various colour palettes such as monochromatic, complementary, triadic and more. You can save all scanned colors to custom swatches and even locate the closest store to purchase your paint.

I'm confused what's Nix why do I have to connect to it? When you're in Home Depot by the paints you have advertising saying how easy it is to use the app. Again, what is Nix, and why do I need it? Why can't you just let us take a photo of the room put the paint swatch color wherever we want so we can see what that paint color would look like. Lumber Liquidators can do with flooring you can do it with the paint swatches

I used this app and device when it initially came onto the market and came to rely on it quite a bit. My phone broke since then and I had recently installed the app on my new phone, which is when I discovered this is now PPG paint color sensor vs the old version which showed color swatches from multiple, more preferred paint manufacturers. This makes it difficult to get a match, and i don't think I can use this product or app anymore, nor continue to recommend it to others.
