I have had two pump Spy outlets now over the course of about 4 years. Simple app that gets the job done with no issues! Allows multiple email and SMS alerts to be sent in the event of an issue! No monthly fee. What more can you ask for?!

Good Monitoring Tool - Could be better. The main reason I purchased this product is, so I can be alerted if my sump pump isn't running. While this works when I tested it, it doesn't work well in my real implementation. The app only allows alerts / notifications to be turned on or off, it doesn't allow individual events to be turned on or off. The issue I have is that when my pump runs it runs for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. This causes an alert every time the pump runs, which I don't need.

Updated review - The app was updated, and now I don't get live data. This is a bad update for me. Old review - It's ok. I've had it for a week to get alerts and monitor my sump pump. I haven't tested the water level monitor yet but the only thing that seems to work is Wi-Fi connectivity, remote monitoring, cycle and volume history. Plenty of bugs to fix. Update* The water level monitor works great. Alert of pump running long is great. It appears the bugs are fixed

App crashes when trying to add account. The app has great functionality... When it works. Over the past year it has disconnected my account at random which means I would not be getting notified of any pump issues. This time however, the app won't even let me log in, it just crashes whenever I get to the account page. The only solution I have found that works is to uninstall the app and then reinstall it.

I followed the steps to connect to my Wi-Fi as instructed. It just doesn't work. Tried with 2 different android phones. Both phones have issues staying connected to the Pump spy network. Every once in a while the app is able to receive the Device ID, and then it freezes looking for nearby networks. This renders the product unusable.
