Description
This application enables you to view actual rainfall radar and forecast rainfall imagery for the UK. The imagery can be animated or stepped through. The available times for the rain radar is typically the last two hours and the forecast rainfall goes out to about 36 hours. Synoptic charts can now also be viewed in a similar fashion, these are charts showing the forecast weather situation - primarily pressure and other weather features such as warm and cold fronts. Now also shows the chance of rain which is an indication of rain probability for various places in the UK for day and night over the next 5 days.
Recent changes: Adjust times for BST. Retain approximate location crosshair on map when zooming.

Fantastic! Simple but accurate! BBC weather pretends to accurately pinpoint your location but often raining when app says it's cloudy! Other satellite maps only show current not forecast. With this app you can plan ahead by seeing if you are on the "edge" of weather front, helps you make good decisions in walking, cycling or a BBQ between showers... Suggestion... Could do with more city names on map.
