EDIT: changed to 5* as issues have now been resolved. Very recently signed up & downloaded the app. No issues signing in. I'm disappointed that it doesn't show an estimated bill value, only usage in kilowatts. The app simply says "Usage cost* $0.00" in home->electricity usage section. In the "bills" section it also says "projected charges $0.00". It's a shame there's no running estimate, otherwise it's a fairly simple to use, easy to understand app.

Just installed 4/4/2024 and initially failed due to 'still setting up your account' type error, so I closed the app and tried again and it worked. Not the greatest start, but the app then loaded ok and is fairly intuitive in terms of functionality and navigation, etc. One issue for me though is that I can only see the yellow FIT credit bars and amounts when I go down to half-hourly view. But it doesn't show any yellow credit bars in any other view, only the red kWh used bars - so that's odd.

Needs Improvement. I recently moved to Red Energy and was surprised by how limited the app feels. It’s good that it shows hourly usage in kWh, but it’s disappointing that there’s no option to view it in dollars. Other providers let you see how much you’re spending day by day, which is really useful for tracking costs. Hopefully, Red Energy can add a $ view soon since the data is already there.

Disappointing. Compared to my previous AGL app this is poor. No option to track daily actual COST. No option to supply gas meter reading. I want to track $ usage not just daily Kwh totals? Especially as the bill cycle is 3 months. Gas usage is even lass detailed. Needs more functionality to be useful.

Hopefully this time the following issue well be investigated and actions taken? Like other providers I guess staff don't communicate with each other, as for them to set up Cent repay one staff quoted Cent repay fortnightly $11 for electricity and $10 for gas, but another staff gave a quote for Even pay not Cent repay fortnightly of $30 electricity and $14 gas nearly doubled the other quote
