Description by Sire Inc.(from Google Play)
Best barbell tracking app! Simply record a video from the side of your barbell lift to get detailed analytics such as bar path, range of motion, velocity/speed, and power. Join the tens of thousands of people using analytics to optimize their training and get stronger faster with this app! https://www.repspeed.net/
Features: Automatic barbell detection Trim video to eliminate excess time Take video with camera or upload from video on device Easily visualize repetitions over time View barbell path throughout lift Frame by frame playback Add notes to every workout Unlimited videos for analysis (premium) View time, velocity, and power for every repetition and set average (premium) RPE and One-Rep max calculation (premium) Realtime velocity training (premium)
Use cases: Velocity based training - Lift in the correct velocity range. Power based training - Train to maximize power to increase vertical jump and explosiveness. Olympic Lifting - Know if failed lift was technical (didn't get under the bar fast enough) or because of strength (bar did not reach adequate height to get under) Correct form - Ensure the bar path is completely vertical, squat depth is low enough, catch is not too low during power clean, etc.
User's thoughts: "I like seeing how fast I’m performing each rep for things like pause squats and more explosive Olympic lifts" "Nice way to visualize how much time you have between reps" "Let's me measure power on my lifts without having to spend lots of money" "I've never been able to measure my workouts so easily before"
Don't waste hundreds of dollars buying inaccurate accelerometers or other bulky hardware to track the barbell. With just your phone and an inexpensive subscription, you'll have everything you need to optimize your training.

Helped me optimize my squat form and get past a plateau I'd been struggling with for weeks!
★★★★☆Dimos Makrakis· Oct 17, 2022
Exceptional VBT app and very easy to use. The only problem is it crashes after I stop recording and doesn't save the video
★★★★☆Michael Woodward· Jan 9, 2023
Pretty good. You need to make sure you trim the video to exactly before and exactly after you start and finish your set. Seems to be fairly accurate at predicting RPE based off the velocity which is what I wanted it for
★★★★★Josiah Gravelle· Nov 30, 2023
So far so good, it would be nice to be able to link multiple devices, so you can have a device filming add another device giving you visual feedback instead of audio feedback
★★★★☆Kyle Gallant· Jul 27, 2023
I don't have any reason to purchase yet, but this is by far my favorite of the bar path tracking apps I've used. UI is top-notch. Easy to use, fair amount of free space if you casually check. Pricing seems worth it if you are serious about bar stats, and want to store more attempts. I'm extremely interested in the 1RM functionality, but I have yet to truly explore it at this stage of my training.

Uninstalled after first attempt. It doesn't even follow the end of the bar, it randomly follows anything it wants that doesn't represent bar path!
★☆☆☆☆Adam Rivard· Aug 1, 2023
Waited 10 minutes for it to process 13 seconds of video. It didn't even start the progress bar. Immediate uninstallation.
