Works for the most part, but there no 'pinfu' option to add as yaku. Sometimes there are pinfu only hands or riichi pinfu.

Good app UI is a bit confusing (exposed vs concealed, winning tile) but once you get it, the app is very simple/useful.

Very useful for quickly calculating the score of a hand and identifying yaku patterns. The design is bare, but I suppose that doesn't matter so much. My main gripe is that the settings menu is missing some things that could improve the usability of the app and also the calculation results are sometimes difficult to parse. I wish it would more clearly indicate what is being scored. Especially for new players trying to learn the yaku+scoring (who I imagine being the primary audience of this app)

I needed this Why was this almost 200 apps down the list when I searched for mahjong calculator? I had to scroll through so many solitaire games to get here... Anyway, it's a mahjong hand calculator that can also tell you your waits, though I probably won't use that, and is in English. The only thing I could ask for would be a clearer indication that additional settings are off to the side, and you can swipe to reach them. A little disappointed it doesn't score past double yakuman, but I'll manage.

Trying to use the thing to beat the mahjong challenges in Yakuza/Ryu ga Gook. Thing says literally all my hands are invalid even when I put the hand I just won with. No, thanks

The addition of banner ads hides the navigation button for switching the tab to add dora, set wind or riichi etc. The swipe works still, but there is no indicator that the second tab exists at all.

Riichi Calc is an easy to use app that takes any valid Japanese mahjong hand and calculates all possible winning combinations. A great companion for any Japanese mahjong player! Feel free to e-mail me about any calculation errors.

Features:
　• Used for the Japanese variant of Mahjong
　• Order is irrelevant. The app will rearrange the tiles for you
　• Determine waits of a tenpai hand
　• Provides warnings against illegal combinations (e.g. riichi with an open hand)
