My favorite Riichi video game along with Mahjong Fight Club on the Vita. It has a dedicated list of all the Yaku in the rule book and the rules can be easily modified into all the possible configurations. After some eye rubbing and double-checking if it wasn't some Mahjong term that slipped my attention, I can confirm 「 spoiler there's even the option to set a rule for whether players will get penalized for flipping the table yes, FLIPPING. Very Free to play friendly and overall well-made. It does of course have a bit less polish than some more money hungry mahjong apps, but it's serviceable. The AI programming does leave a bit to be desired. I've noticed you can't really practice a lot of yaku on the low level bots because they are programmed to never ever throw unseen honor tiles despite having a low defense score.

Best Japanese mahjong app. I live in Japan and this is hands down the best mahjong companion for non-Japanese fan of Japanese mahjong. All the yaku names are in japanese, so you will learn the right vocabulary if you ever play with Japanese players. Many different official rules are also supported. If you like Japanese or if you want to learn to play it, get this app. Works flawlessly on Samsung z flip 2.

Terrible experience, the developers focused too much on giving it 3d physics and trying to similar an actual board game, rather than making it actually decent to play... the other players tiles aren't even visible on a phone screen, and lacks all the quality of life features that even the most basic of other mahjong apps have, like automatically sorting your hand or having basic table indicators

Do not install this! I just came back to my phone and saw an ad right on my home screen, and I assure you I had NO APPS OPEN WHILE THIS WAS INSTALLED UPON SEEING THE AD. This game is a virus, anyone who's played this has just been tricked into installing adware!

The tiles in this game are miniscule! I know some players will have decent to good eyesight, and I'm not one of them, but the tiles could've been designed to be a bit bigger. Aside from that one bad choice, it's good. The rules work fine. The rating is low because the one poor choice is an important one. At least give the option for tile size, meet in the middle.
