I will start by saying the D Series Wi-Fi radiator system is excellent and does what I am looking for it to do, however it will benefit from a software update. You are given a choice of "off", "eco-mode" or "comfort mode". The system would be far better if you could set hourly by temperature rather than mode. Setting the system up initially was a little clunky, but it operates really well once set up. I would recommend the radiators but cannot give 5 stars until software is improved.

We use Rointe rads for heating our Village Hall. Remote control of heating when Hall is hired out is almost essential. Initial set up was a little tricky but system now has been working perfectly for over 5 years.

Not a bad app. It would be good if there was a video on how to use it properly. Trial & error worked in the end as the instructions weren't very clear to me. This app could be better if you were able to use smaller time blocks. 15 minutes would be amazing but 30 minutes at least. There are times I don't need a full hour due to leaving home at say, 8.30. I'm then wasting 30 of heating. Vice versa, I would rather have 30 minutes of the heating being on before I get up, not a whole hour.

App is horrendous, sell £600 heaters and that's the app they want you to use its laughable

In getting ready for winter, I started the app and checked schedules. The D Series rail is on my network, but does not connect to Rointe Cloud. The app just assumes everything is connected with no confirmation or validation.

The radiators themselves are good and perform well; however, the app is very disappointing. The main reason for choosing Rointe was the ability to control the radiators remotely, but the app is not intuitive or user-friendly at all. Programmed schedules set within the app don’t seem to work properly, which defeats the purpose of smart control. Additionally, the app provides no clear indication of whether a radiator is currently turned on or how long it has been running
