Gets me to the destination with the shortest routes. It lets you know your at your destination before you are. You have to turn on Google to finish your trip

★★★★★ Dori Wilson · Oct 28, 2021

We use it daily for work. Good program. Just wish the navigation system wouldn't come on by itself. It's very annoying.

★★★★★ Brian Tyler · Jul 25, 2025

The Route Genie Driver App is excellent—clean interface, reliable, and easy to use. It keeps drivers on track with real-time trip updates, navigation, and smooth communication with dispatch. Signature capture and rider info tools save time and improve accuracy. It’s a must-have for any NEMT operation looking to stay organized and efficient. Highly recommended!

Absolute garbage. Takes over your device with a "draw over other apps" permission and absolutely will not allow you to deny that permission by refusing to function without it. I'm trying to write a chart, and it will take over and switch away from the far more important charting app I need and will keep switching away from it even if you switch back. I KNOW where I am, I KNOW what TIME it is, I have EYES. I do not need this dumpster fire of an app screaming "LOOK AT ME" like an angry toddler.

I'd like to know why this app needs complete access to my phone. I understand it needs location so they could track where we are with their clients. But they do not need access to my camera, files and media, contacts, nearby devices, or phone. EDIT: also, why does it need to draw over other apps' permission? I was on a very important phone call with my doctor and had a list of things to discuss with him and yet kept popping up on top of my list as soon as I brought my list to the forefront again.

This app causes my phone to overheat even when it's not running. I have never had a problem with overheating until I started using Route Genie.

The RouteGenie Driver app is built to be used only with the RouteGenie Software which helps NEMT companies reduce over head, boost overall efficiency and prevent noshows. The RouteGenie Driver is an easy to use app that guides your non-emergency medical transportation driver throughout their day. With the Driver App you can make driver payroll easier than ever, gather required NEMT trip data, collect payments right in the vehicle, and more!
We also use background location. Background location is collected only if the driver has an active shift and working. It is used to show vehicles on the map / to provide you with accurate dispatching. Access to the app location is secured and restricted, access is granted only to authorized employees who use our management system. The data is not stored and we never use your information for advertising purposes.
