★★★★★ good app, makes using an acoustic release simple

★★☆☆☆ There is no real advantage for using this! The old system was more reliable. Using a phone especially in cold water environments with gloves is a drag. The system works most of the time and releases no matter what the app tells you, this means if it doesn't work you have no clue why.
