Comments on Garmin STRIKER™ Cast for Android

★★★★★ Jason Hawes · Aug 5, 2022

Wonderful device for water temperature and bottom structures. Great for showing depth. I've used it in the kayak, and it's definitely a plus when bank fishing.

★★★★★ James Coram · Sep 2, 2023

Incredible device paired with an easy-to-use app that improves fishing hands down. I love this tool and can now target my catch as compared to just bait them. 10/10 recommend adding the Garmin castable sonar to EVERY tackle box, and the Striker Cast app to every device!

★★★★★ Zach Seabolt · Jan 31, 2023

This thing is amazing! Soooo easy to use and my 10-year-old daughter used it with no instructions from her dad to jig a fish through 32" of ice and 40' deep, and she saw the fish on my phone and got it to bite!

★☆☆☆☆ Franz Leinders · Feb 8, 2022

Quick draw is wrong or gps is off. I saw a feature on the map from the quick draw community, I set up right on top of it on the map, and the bottom was a completely different depth and structure (~30ft off). Why? Would help with location of the feature if the bathymetric maps were overlaid on satellite imagery. Makes the maps completely useless if I can't trust them.

★★☆☆☆ Paul Phipps · Mar 20, 2023

Poor, save up for deeper. Mapped several waters and the depth function is good however, it shows contours in adjacent fields, roads etc. not on the lake, or river you have mapped ...contours are very vague when you zoom in on the map and the download from community function is hopeless......expected more from Garmin to be honest. Disappointed 😞

★★☆☆☆ Greg Meyer · Aug 20, 2023

Device seems solid and connects quickly but software is lacking features. It doesn't show gps accuracy other than a 5 bar signal strength, and it's missing basic features like sonar history and a fish alarm. Why leave these out? Expected more from Garmin.
