Nice to keep in touch at all times. Since my last report I have not been able to get into the Santander mobile app in any way on my smartphone. All I get is app pending. This has been happening for the last week. I have contacted Santander, and we went through everything and all was confirmed as being fine. They advised me to contact Google directly as something is rong at their end? Can anyone advise me of what to do accordingly!

After years of custom and use, got warning to verify my ID, which I attempted. Requires driving license, I don't drive, or passport, mine was stolen, and I don't want to replace right now. Contacted support repeatedly to indicate I can prove my identity in other ways. Each time automated system told me a person would contact me, but they never did. Went to branch, hostile cashier told me to get a passport or stop using mobile banking. Update: customer service appear to have remedied the situation

Excellent but could be better.... I find the app really intuitive to use. The only thing I would change would be to add notifications for high/low balance alerts or large payments alerts. I used to get text messages and really miss them. I have another banking app that sends app notifications for these things instead, so perhaps this could be considered?

Santander as a bank is good, this app is not! Everything is harder than it needs to be. I've tried to verify my identity with my ID, and it says either something went wrong or it closes itself down. I've tried it multiple times over a couple of days, I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it's the same. In general, it is a very poor app, it's slow, shuts itself down. I've had the app for different banks and never experienced the difficulties I do with this one. It's frustrating.

Yep, Santander is usually great (especially in person or over the phone) but this app is buggy. Currently having the same issue, I can't send a payment at all since ID checks crash the app. Am not on an old phone either

I have tried continually over several days and this 'new' app just spins. Cannot access my banking! The original was great!

The app is very slow/buggy and crashes quite often. It also does not have push notifications for any transactions which is terrible especially if someone were to get into your account and spend money as there would be no notification to tell you that transactions have taken place. Not sure why they haven't implemented that yet as that seems like a must-have featured for any banking app.

Constantly has to update, not good if you need to access your account, and have to wait 10 mins, as the update is so slow.
