The app works amazingly well at identifying books (either a barcode scan or a "shelfie" of the spines of your books on a shelf). Unfortunately, 95% of the books I own have no ebook available. According to the app, anyway. It only identifies ebooks you can buy from Shelfie. I know that many of my books are available in Kindle format, but it doesn't include those as "having an ebook", so it's quite disappointing.

Love this app. I can't wait for it to grow. I love that someone has taken the time to finally put together an app that allows you to obtain an ebook copy of your physical books at a very cheap price. This app is still in the process of getting more publishers to release the rights so more books are available for purchase. Hopefully more publishers will go along with this. I also love that you can link your Goodreads account to the app. If you keep up with your book collection on Goodreads, Shelfie will let you know which of your books are available.

This app was an all together fail for me. When I would try to take a shelfie, the picture would come out as all black and could not read the spines, causing me to scan all of my 300ish books. After scanning my books the app told me nothing was available on all but a few books. Most of those books I know have ebooks and audiobooks. I was excited to at least try to read the few that I did have but then it wanted me to pay more money on top of the price of the paperbacks. I really wish this had been better.

No titles, disappointing. The software was a bit sloppy but it kinda worked, but shelfie doesn't have any titles. NONE. Not one book on a shelf of many was available.
