Did you ever wish you could balance your checkbook on your Android smartphone or tablet using a familiar interface that looks like a checkbook register? Well, here it is. Here's a list of all the features this app offers:
- Keeps track of multiple accounts with password protection (password can be turned off in account preferences) - Saves a list of descriptions/payees so that after you type something once you only need to click on it later - Click on a transaction to mark it mark it as cleared (it will be highlighted) - Long-click on a transaction to void, un-void, delete, edit, or add a note to the transaction - Schedule automatic transactions to be entered into the ledger at specified time intervals such as weekly, biweekly, monthly, and yearly. Special monthly is also supported for transactions not occurring on the same day every month, such as the third Wednesday of the month - Export your ledger as a comma separated value (CSV) file that can be loaded on most any spreadsheet software - Archive cleared transactions to keep the app running smoothly by not making it go through old transactions every time - Export archived transactions as a CSV file and optionally have them deleted from the app at the time you export them - Sync to or from Google Drive for easy backups and to share information between multiple devices. This is the free version of Simple Checkbook Ledger. Other than the ads, there is no difference in functionality between the two versions.
Recent changes: Added an exit button (red X) to the title bar. Added an automatic transaction interval of 4 weeks. Added a feature in preferences to highlight the balance in yellow if it's below a specified amount.

I don no how to unarchive the cleared chq list. Also if I give archive the cleared chq it archives only list items which are cleared continuously n in-between if one chq is uncleared then after that all d cleared chq remains in the list., N doesn't get archived.,!! Need to add filter option so that can export the list of chq in a particular duration., App works great., Needs lil more polishing

I spent hours setting this up. I entered each account, entered all of the different descriptions to use, entered several pages of my current log to get it in sync with my bank account, set up my automatic drafts, and more. After doing all of this and being excited about the way the app worked, it all of a sudden STOPPED WORKING. I'm unable to get into the checking account now. Everytime I enter my password, it tells me that it has unfortunately stopped and kicks me out. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS. I would like to give this app ample time to prove itself as I liked the set up much better than the others I have looked at. Nevertheless if this isn't able to be fixed by tonight or tomorrow at the latest, I'm goin to have to choose something else and I've been sharing the app I'm using with many others. Very frustrated right now. I've been trying for hours to get back in prior to posting this review and it will NOT allow me to access my account after all the work I did. Again, PLEASE HELP ASAP. Thank you in advance.

This app would be decent if you would let me back date my transactions. I should be able to put any date I should be able to put any date I choose not just the current date.

So originally i had downloaded this to help keep better track of my money. I input a few purchases after entering my balance and closed the app. When i re-open it to enter more purchases, it asks for a password. It never asked for one when i downloaded it and theres no way to get one. Highly displeased.

Used to be great, but now loaded with popups for Google Play Store when signing in. 6 popups before I could put in username!!!!!😠 Besides the popups, it is a great app to record and track your spending.
