Description
Smart and reliable all-round security for your home for easy DIY installation With the Smartvest App, you can configure and operate your Smartvest wireless alarm system. Up to 32 wireless components and 4 cameras offer all-round security. The components and cameras are set up with only a few clicks using the Smartvest App.
Live access via app any time and any place Using the Plug & Play internet access you can access your wireless alarm system without additional setup at the router. The Smartvest App offers state overview of all components, activating and deactivating of the wireless alarm system and access to live video data.
Setup of individual scenarios The Smartvest App makes it possible to create individual scenarios. These can increase comfort or security, depending on the users’ requirement, by e.g. activating wireless power sockets triggered by motion detection for automatic illumination or starting the video recording on opening magnet contacts to detect intrusion.
Creating individual groups In the control menu up to 9 individual groups can be created. These enable the operation of all used actors, e.g. wireless power sockets, with one click. Furthermore, it can be defined, which sensors trigger an alarm when activated and which actors should react. The setup of a partial activation is also possible.
Reliable event notification with video images of up to 4 cameras The message function instantly notifies the user about every event. The recorded image data in the event list can be played back as well as saved on mobile end devices. With the help of the snapshot function single images can be saved on mobile end devices.

It works and does the main functionalities well enough. I do feel that quality of life improvements would really help though, such as being able to set a timer to arm and disarm at a set time.

I wish it was possible to set up a scenario based on if the system is Armed or not Armed. For example, to turn a power switch on if it's Armed and keep it off if it's not.

A great app for the Smartest alarm system. It's easy to set up and to use. New alarm sensors are easy to add and the app allows full remote control of the alarm and full notifications of alarm events. A useful feature are the battery low alarms on all sensors.

It works well and does not need a manual to be configured and used, but the UX can be improved. A UX specialist should redesign the interface to make it friendlier and make it an excellent app.

Not doing good... ABUS and IT doesn't mix well together. As far as I knoww, no API whatsoever, no Computer interface, just a gross Androïd application. No support for portrait/landscape switch... Was it coded by a 12yo child? So please, people, do not buy any ABUS Smartest hardware. ABUS you are abusing customers, and I think that it is quite illegal! So please stop because my ass begins to hurt.

This app has started to crash every time when accessing cameras. Have tried clearing cache, clearing data, forcing stop, reinstalling and reinstalling, and rebooting the phone, but nothing helps!

Basic functionality is working, but handling is not great. I wish one could have more access to every device's state and config. Also, while system is not really interoperable with other systems (e.g. OpenAI), big bummer.
