SonoLevel: Sound Bubble Level

Hanging a picture on your own, both hands busy, squinting sideways at your phone. That is exactly where every digital level falls apart.

SonoLevel guides you with sound: the closer you get to level, the faster the beep. When you are there, a continuous tone. Keep both hands on the picture and level it by ear.

FIVE MODES
• Level: a two-axis bubble on a target, with pitch and roll shown separately
• Inclinometer: the tilt along the phone, for ramps, pipes and stairs
• Target: reach an exact non-zero value, like a 2% slope or 45°
• Pro: the full readout, two decimals, each axis, stability and the best value reached
• Camera: the level over the camera image, to line things up without resting the phone

TOOLS FOR REAL JOBS
• Which leg?: to level a four-legged table or cabinet, it tells you which leg to raise and by how much
• Protractor: the angle between two surfaces
• Plumb: whether a wall, column or door frame is plumb, and which way it leans
• Compass: the heading, compensated even when the phone is not flat
• Square: mark 90°, 45°, 30° or 60° on the floor or a table
• Log: every saved measurement, with name, date and photo

BUILT FOR WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE THE SCREEN
• Hold: freezes the reading when the phone is behind furniture or on top of a wardrobe
• Read-aloud of the value, in English or Spanish
• Rhythmic vibration that follows the sound, for noisy building sites

YOUR WAY
• Units: degrees, percent, millimetres per metre or 1:x
• Adjustable tolerance for what counts as level
• Light and dark theme, with several colour palettes
• Simple or precise two-position calibration that cancels the sensor's own error
• Quick-access home screen widget
• Step-by-step help on every screen
