This project has been made open source and one can clone the source code from https://github.com/sommukhopadhyay/FFTBasedSpectrumAnalyzer. There is a new and improved version called Spectrum Analyzer1 at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.somitsolutions.android.spectrumanalyzer1. This is because i lost the key for this app and hence had to upload a new version as a brand new app... From now onward please download this version.

Another that's either couldn't open or it only went up to 4KHz, a bunch of these share the same name or very similar and none seem to be worth the time to even try. Buy a real RTA and you'll see just how useless these apps are. They have no sensitivity to sound levels or able to register tones in the correct bands or amplitude, your end result will sound so bad you'll realize instantly that setting everything flat will yield far better overall sound than the results after using these apps.

Doesn't work on my MT6589 I only see the top half of the frequency bar at the bottom of my display, can't get into any menu of sorts, and the app crashes when I press 'back'.
