We prayed for times like these. I have seven chrome casts in my house and one Apple TV and the app runs perfectly fine on my 4K Chromecast. The app is on par with the Apple TV experience with runs on much better Hardware. If you have a legit first party Google Chromecast device it should work it will probably run really well on an Nvidia Shield too, but I would not trust a random Google Android setup box. I live in Los Angeles and you need to make sure that your Chromecast is on the same Wi-Fi as a spectrum router otherwise you might not be able to watch local channels.

Excited, but needs more enhancement. The app is only been released recently so take that with a grain of salt all you knocking a brand-new app. It's been so long waiting for a Spectrum App for a Google TV. Thank you to the powers that be for getting this developed. That being said, it seems very bright without controls over video mode i.e. Movie vs Sports etc. I'm still stoked I don't have to Chromecast from my phone or laptop to my TV anymore. It's a 3.75 out of 5 for now, one my TV at least.

APP does not work on Google TV. Loads to error screen to disable Talk Back even though it is disabled. Please correct with an update, and then I will rereview. Thanks!

As others have pointed out, if any accessibility service is enabled, the app refuses to launch and tells you to disable Talk Back, even if Talk Back is already disabled. There's no reason for this check to happen in the first place. If I have Talk Back enabled, it makes no sense for me to disable it just for one app. STVA should just disable its built in TTS if Talk Back is enabled and give a message explaining why it's disabled if users try to enable it.

On a new TCL tv, once you exit the app, use another app then reopen spectrum it glitches requiring a force close & a data clear.

I was hoping I would be able to link my cable box to the app, but I guess it only lets one cable box at a time or something I don't know
