We have lived in the Chicago suburbs for 25 years and no longer visit downtown as often as we once did, but the primary headache when we do inevitably seem to be finding a parking spot that doesn't cost a full day's wages. SpotHero allows us to reserve a spot in advance, know how much it will cost, and also tells us how far away it is from our venue. This app saves time, money, and frustration. I love an app that helps me out!

Not worth the hassle. I booked a spot from 8:00 p.m. to midnight I arrived after my scheduled time, so I was in the clear. We went to dinner and came back hours before our scheduled departure time. We had a nice ticket letting us know we needed to pay a fine. I reached out to SpotHero, they took over a week to respond and then told me that I was scheduled at 9pm. Not 8pm so my ticket at 8:28 p.m. was my problem. At least I have screenshots and the actual booking. Just unnecessary hassle

Can't view QR. why do I have to wait for the time to get a QR code? My network doesn't work in garages, so I usually take screenshots for offline use. But I can't seem to get QR code unless I hit the park early. This is such a terrible app design for poor network connection.

If it works, great. If not then your out of luck with payment and a parking spot. Calling their "help" line took over 10 minutes, and I just hung up because I needed to park. Same thing when I needed to leave and the QR code didn't work. It took them 3 business days to respond to my refund request. Guess what they denied it because they couldn't cancel it after the fact. Just use the app to find parking options and then park there and pay on site yourself.

I've had 1 major issue after using SH for years. My car was parked correctly and legally, but some overzealous tower still thought it's right to tow me. I had to pay ~$400 out of pocket to get my car from impound. I had to personally obtain records from the tow agency; and submit those to SH, along with all my other expense details. After a 6-week review by SH, my claim was approved, and I was reimbursed. Yet, I still had to argue to refund the original $15 parking payment. No interest was provided
