Found on a random message board and wasn't sure about it, but it worked out amazingly. Got a parking garage in downtown DC for 3 days, with the ability to come and go, for $58. It was a steal. Local hotel was $60 a night.

Do not use this App. There's no way to confirm the parking or show a parking attendant proof that you reserved a spot (no code to scan or anything). The price on this app was twice what you pay if you just drive up and pay at the entrance.

The garage we stayed in is mostly to blame for this review. We reserved parking in the 1st day of a convention the garage was full. If I am reserving a spot the app should have a way to tell the garage it's full... Tonight the garage scanner was busted. We called the garage for help (there was no in-person assistance) and because spot hero does not include a ticket number in the reserved spot the garage wanted to charge us $80 when their scanner was broken.

I've had 1 major issue after using SH for years. My car was parked correctly and legally, but some overzealous tower still thought it's right to tow me. I had to pay ~$400 out of pocket to get my car from impound. I had to personally obtain records from the tow agency; and submit those to SH, along with all my other expense details. After a 6-week review by SH, my claim was approved, and I was reimbursed. Yet, I still had to argue to refund the original $15 parking payment. No interest was provided
