Would be nice if you could sync it with samsung health, strata, google fit or some other app otherwise decent enough at least for a first timer

The app is good, but it would be great if as a user we can see the distance for the trips too in the transaction history or Ride details option can be added where qe can view the details of all the previous rides.

I was quite put off by comments about the locks not working, but it all worked simply and easily for me. The bikes are unlikely to be in the Olympics but are perfectly decent for city rides and better than I expected

Bikes don't unlock then you get charged £30 because of their issue, even when they can see the bike never moved. Terrible customer service. Don't risk it.

They overcharge you regularly, e.g. the bikes might believe that you were not on station while you are, the bike didn't unlock, but they started charging. Also the response times in the app are too slow especially the payment. When you lock the bike you should wait for the app to respond back, but it can take up to minute. For a 10 minutes ride that +10% time... it takes time until you manage to reach a human in the support

I use these bike at least 4 to 5 times a week, and they are SO inconsistent. There have been times when 6 to 7 bikes have been at a station and not a single one unlocks due to some type of error. I have countless chats with support because of something going wrong with the bikes e.g. not locking properly or some other issue. The experience feels so inefficient and if there were other bike brands and options on offer I would definitely stop using Starling bikes.
