- Product Summary STEINS;GATE is the second collaborative work between 5pb and Nitroplus with a science-fiction/adventure theme. Released on October 2009 for the Xbox 360, it won the highest Famitsu Award (Japanese video game magazine). Later, the game was released for the PC & PSP, along with additional merchandise such as spin-off video games, character songs and drama CDs. The series has sold more than 100,000 copies. An anime adaptation began airing on April 2011, and it is becoming increasingly popular. The story found in STEINS;GATE is not your usual time traveling fare, but is a "hypothetical science adventure" focused on the structure of time travel itself. Many of the situations and scientific concepts referred to in the game have been plucked from real science; the story-line is therefore credible and intellectual stimulating for players.

Excellent story - great vn overall. This port is slightly buggy and has its fair share of crashed however, for what it is, it is very decent. (the game itself is in Japanese, but you can find a plugin of sorts to make it English)

Get the Steam version with the CoZ patch instead. Steins;Gate is an excellent entry into the Sci ADV franchise. It's just unfortunate, that this experience is lacking much of what makes the other ports good. There are no lip flaps to match the voice lines, and your performance may vary greatly. I tested it on a OnePlus 9, and I got FPS readings varying from 13–60 FPS, with rising temperatures. A Snapdragon 888 shouldn't be breaking a sweat at a game designed to run on phones from 10 years ago.

Not able to run on newer phones, I had bought this on my Galaxy 22 Ultra and now that I've upgrade my phone to a Galaxy 24 Ultra, I'm unable to even get this game to start... It launches into a black screen
