★★★★★ Realized I had installed the WRONG app version for my 1400 model DVR on my newer S7 Edge phone. After I installed the CORRECT version on my phone, the app worked immediately, and I was able to view my cameras via cellphone again. I guess I had been lucky all those years using SwannviewPro on my Note2 when it really shouldn't have been working. Lesson learned: Always make sure you are using the RIGHT app with the RIGHT equipment. Thanks Swann!

★★☆☆☆ I've set up many other CCTV DVRs without a hitch until this one that my relative got. nothing is seamless with this company. No model number on the box. Setup ddns account and made the settings and port forwarding as usual. No access. Called tech support and it took forever just to tell them my problem....and the guy was reading off a checklist even though I told him I have everything he needs. The tech support needed tech support. Finally found the right app of the many Swann has...(you guys really need a different app for each model it seems). Server finally connected on Android app and playing. Black screen. Great job guys. Now I know which system not to get for own my home. The smart cameras from Nest or Netgear sound more appealing than from this dinosaur tech company.
