Description

The Symbio® Service and Installation free app has all that you need to start up and service a Symbio 700 controller without a PC or other software service tool.
The app connects a Symbio 700 controller using Bluetooth BLE or Trane Connect Secure Remote Access when available.
The app also supports Symbio 800 chiller and IntelliPak controllers using Wi-Fi or Trane Connect Secure Remote Access to set up, monitor and service equipment.

Using the app, you can
• View the equipment status, alarms, and diagnostics
• Configure the controller to match the installed equipment options (Symbio 700 only,)
• View and edit setpoints and other operational parameters,
• View and edit schedules,
• Configure the controller to communicate to a BAS or Trane Connect for remote access
• Back up and restore controllers
• Update firmware from a USB drive
• LLID binding and Manual Control Settings (Symbio 800 only)
• View data logs
• Initiate test modes (Symbio 700 only)

I have an old android Galaxy Note 9. I was having a heck of a time connecting this app to a Trane RTU. I finnaly got it connected after figuring out that I needed the GPS/location on my phone turned on, as well as the Bluetooth. Try that if you're having connection problems. It worked for me.

Trane equipment and their controls are garbage. Unit is getting a call and sits in limbo. Don't waste your time, their controls and equipment are inoperable unless you have a computer with their software.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Pointless app to steal data from customers. Worst yet the ac you bought is a paperweight until the tech who installed it uses this app. This is not how you get more customers. It's the opposite. Sorry had to edit. It's even worst. It won't pair at all because I use android. Don't bother installing if you use android

If app had the correct parameters it would be great. Trane Bacnet/ms/tp baud default is 76800. Why, who knows but the app does not allow you to set that baud, so you have to have tracer tu to modify.

App cant seem to find devices to connect to control. Says no Bluetooth devices found, but when I go to my Bluetooth, I can see it. Yes im standing near the unit.
