Syncplay - Watch Video Files in Sync with Friends

This is the UNOFFICIAL Syncplay Client for Android that works in great synergy with the PC client. You can watch the same movie, anime or series with your friends (who are using this unofficial Android Client or PC Client for Syncplay, doesn't matter) in sync, and you can even chat with emojis !

The Official Syncplay (hosted on www.syncplay.pl) is a free software that synchronizes media players so that faraway friends can watch videos together. Developed mainly by Uriziel (Core Functionality), Etoh (GUI) and albertosottile. It is a free open-source software under the Apache 2.0 License. It works on Windows, Linux and macOS.

Syncplay (BETA) for Android: Brings Syncplay's functionality to Android while establishing the possibility to make PC users and Android Users watch together anytime!

> How it works :
The app puts Syncplay's official servers to use, as well as inherit their protocol scheme and translate it into Android native language.

You and your friends should join the same server, same room, choose usernames for yourself, choose the same video file from your storage, and you can start syncing!

- If someone pauses, video will be paused for everyone, same for unpausing.
- If someone jumps to a certain position of the video, everyone else jumps to the same position.
- If someone stays behind while watching due to media player lag (on PC or Phone) everyone else is rewinded back to his position so everyone is kept in sync!
- Video Files don't have to be exactly the same, Syncplay will only sync video position!
- Syncplay DOES NOT transfer files, it just syncs playback.

> What you need :
- Constant internet connection.
- Syncplay client for your PC or your phone (whatever you use).

> What you gotta do :
- To watch with your friends, everyone needs to download the client.
- If your friend uses PC, tell them to download PC Client from www.synplay.pl
- If your friend uses Android, tell them to download this app.
- Open the same server, type same room name (upper/lower case matters!)
- Open the same video file as your friends, and start watching !
- You can click ready/unready to tell your friends if you're ready or not.
