Reliable and versatile enough to make specific granular folder backups with the Sync function. It can upload only, have two-way sync, or download from NAS only. It has browsing categories for documents, photos and files as well as one for shared files. No issues during use, and I use it to make instant uploads from my Xiaomi 15 Ultra. But backup function seems to be limited to default camera photos and documents folder.

You need this app when using synology NAS to organize your drive folders.

It was a challenge to get set up for all the devices (Macbook and phones especially). Once the initial backup was completed it has been working well. Apple and Google actively make it hard to use local storage like a NAS. They want everyone to pay for their overpriced icloud and drive storage. Now all our photos (and everything else) are backed up to the NAS. Having a local backup definitely provides piece of mind.

lets me view, organize, tag, and upload files to my home NAS from anywhere. Works very well.

Refuses to sync pictures or zip files properly. You thinking NAS app could upload photos without throwing a fit 🙄

Worse app ever to back up photos from your phone. Extremely slow and looses non-stop connection with your Nas.

The Synology Drive Android app is utterly useless. Despite multiple attempts to connect to my NAS, it consistently fails with vague errors like 'connection error' or 'timeout.' LAN and WAN, clean cache, new phone, old phone. Yet, Chrome and Firefox on my phone log in seamlessly. The message is clear: this app is garbage.

This app is great, and I can't imagine not using it, but this week it started draining my phone's battery to the point of making it unusable. One example I went to sleep with my phone fully charged and woke up to Synology Drive having consumed 70% battery overnight (with no files having changed in that timespan). Had this happen multiple times in the past few days. Please fix this 🙏
